The Zong Zhan night market (總站夜市) is located at the intersection of Dunfu Road and Dunfu First Street, Beitun District. 
There is a great variety of foods to choose from, bathrooms and diaper-changing facilities can also be found, to provide a more pleasant experience for visitors.

Zong Zhan Night Market

The bikeway runs along Hanxi East Road. As it passes through several intersections, there are bike designated traffic lights along the bikeway. The first half section of the bikeway runs under bridge. Public facilities along the way include resting seats, bike racks, guiding signs, guard fence, milestone signs, rest area, reflective signs, street lights and bike designated traffic lights. Plantings include giant crepe myrtle, Taiwanese rain tree, Madagascar almond, common lantana and common jasmine orange.

Hanxi Riverside Bikeway

Dakeng is in the east side of Taichung, and is on the opposite side of Dadu Mountain. After reconstructing the walking trails, the place attracts even more people during weekends. The beautiful landscape and various of creatures make it an amazing place to visit.

There are four scenic bridges along Siangshun East Road— New Taohuayuan Bridge, Romantic Lovers Bridge, Qingxin Bridge and Blue Sky & White Cloud Bridge. Each bridge features a distinctive design, attracting visitors to take photos, leisurely walk in daylight or after dark when there is less traffic. A relaxing bike ride at night with company is highly recommended as well. You can embrace a sense of serenity by the river while enjoying the gorgeous night view of the scenic bridges.
The minimalist-style New Taohuayuan Bridge features a special structure with two white half rings. The pink Lovers Bridge seems even more romantic at night. The structure of the Blue Sky & White Cloud Bridge gives a classical and elegant feel. Nicknamed butterfly bridge, Qingxin Bridge is a popular instagram check-in spot for night view photography.
The four renowned bridges are nearby Xindu Ecology Park and Dakeng Scenic Area. Visitors are advised to plan a one-day trip that involves having fun outdoors and enjoying the wonderful night view while strolling the scenic bridges.

823 Memorial Park

Lin Mao-Yang Mansion (Yido Mansion) is a historic buildings of Taichung City. This mansion was built in 1920s to witness a rise of Mr. Lin family after the cooperative marriage of two big families. It preserved lots of Japanese architectural styles while the military kindred village period also enriched her style and features.

Taichung Military Kindred Village Museum is located near Jinhua North Road and Beitun Road intersection. It was originally Beitun New Village which was one of the 134 military kindred villages in Taichung accommodating air force officers above the rank of major and their families. Veterans moved away one after another more than a decade ago. Rectification and renovation was conducted to repurpose the village and four iconic architectures remained. The construction of the museum was completed in mid November, 2014. The over 660 square-meter space is the first local establishment of a military kindred village cultural preservation. 

Taichung Military Kindred Village Museum

This large and colorful Confucius Temple was built to imitate a Song dynasty square-shaped palace. Every year on 28 September, the birthday of Confucius, the main door (Lingxing Door) is opened, and a dawn ceremony is held to commemorate the sage.

A short walk away is the Martyrs Shrine, dedicated to the fallen heroes of China's wars. The impressive gateway and the traditional Chinese palace-style architecture make this an impressive neighbor to the Confucius Temple.

Taichung Confucius Temple

Built in 1935 by the Japanese government, Taichung Broadcasting Bureau was the third radio station established in Taiwan. The fact that it was the only building on “Broadcasting Street” with an address number explains its significance in the history of broadcasting in Taiwan.
The building itself has 94 windows, each of which is elaborately designed to serve different purposes. Aside from functionality, the windows present a changing composition of light and shadow from sunrise to sunset. It is also a popular tourist attraction for its unique architectural design and yard landscaping which is often spotted in Taiwanese soap operas.
Taichung Broadcasting Bureau is also an artists’ paradise where designers’ work and paintings are showcased.

The park owns Chinese-style architectures and enables people to know better about lifestyle in the past. The park also sells folk toys and art crafts.

Taichung Folklore Park

Taichung City Chung Shan Hall is located by the side of the long-standing Zhongzheng Park.

It was officially started on April 1st, 1989. Chung Shan Hall covers an area of 33,564.94 m2 with 16,607.5 m2 of floor space.

The quarter circle design demonstrates a graceful arc exterior; it is a 2 story underground and 3 story over-ground building.
